For 2009, here are the 10 Long Weekends declared by Malacañang Palace Under Proclamation No. 1699:
1 April 4 to 6: Araw ng Kagitingan Weekend
2 April 9 to 12: Easter Weekend
3 May 1 to 3: Labor Day Weekend
4 June 12 to 14: Independence Day Weekend
5 Aug. 21 to 23: Ninoy Aquino Day Weekend
6 Aug. 29 to 31: National Heroes Day Weekend
7 Oct. 31 to Nov.2: All Saints’ Day/ All Souls’ Day Weekend
8 Nov. 28 to 30: Bonifacio Day Weekend
9 Dec. 25 to 27: Christmas Weekend
10 Dec. 30 to Jan. 3: Rizal Day/New Year’s Weekend
