Just call me Mr. NV or “novoman”.   I’m the current administrator for this time.  And, the letters “NV” may relate to different meanings:

* Nueva Vizcaya is the place where I belong, where most novovizcayanos of the Philippines are found.  Nueva means “new“.   All I wish in the future, that our province will be more progressive, packed with clean and green programs, and may be renamed to New Vizcaya.

* New Vizcayano – Native but versatile person. “Native” may mean villager or “probinsyano” .   I will not contest as to whether villagers are more versatile than those people who are raised in urban areas.  The things is, it’s nice to become a versatile person.

* “New” Vergel – this is my first name. At the age of 35, I decided to change my old lifestyle into a new one that is something that is more productive and meaningful.  It’s just like greeting my townmates “What’s new today?” everytime I see them.  Thus, life begins at 35 and not 40.

* Other new V’s in my life are my kids Christian Ver, Chrislyn Veona and Van-Van, who were born in Nueva Vizcaya.

Novovizcayano.wordpress.com was launched in April 2007. Being an artist with great passion of collecting things, Novoman motivates friends and families to share their experiences thru formal way of expression via blogging the Internet.  It’s formal because the world is listening to us (vizcayanos).

I initialized this site in remembrance to my hometown and my identity as Novo Vizcayano.

Background of Vergel : I was born in Tagum City, Davao Del Norte but raised in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya at age 5.  I love Bagabag as my hometown.  Though, it’s not my roots, but it’s my life.

Novovizcayano.net aims to build a knowledge-based information using the experiences of Mr. NV to be used by his families and friends.   Though, there is an area for business and opportunity matters here, Mr. NV believes that it’s easier to deal business with whom you know or someone who are close to you.  He would more enjoy doing business with someone who is related to his family and friend rather than anybody.
